Derek is responsible for leading the firm’s global freighter portfolio. He joined BBAM in 2021 and previously served as Vice President, Marketing EMEA. Prior to joining BBAM, Derek spent seven years at Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, where he held roles spanning finance and commercial. He began his career at KPMG Ireland.
Derek is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from Maynooth University, Ireland, and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He has 12 years of experience in the aircraft leasing industry.
Derek is a member of the Freighter Investment Committee and the Credit Investment Committee.
